During the Institute, participants will gain hands-on experience in creative writing, music, theatre, dance and visual art through workshops taught by professional artists in Colorado, study aesthetic education with Dr. Bruce Uhrmacher and work with classroom teachers called "bridge-builders" to connect their artistic experiences to classroom learning and Colorado Model Content Standards. Since 1989, the nationally-recognized Aesthetic Institute has trained more than 2,000 educators, helping to reignite their passion for teaching and ensure their students are equipped with 21st century skills such as innovation, collaborating and critical thinking.
