Denver Federation of Colored Womens club seeks aid
Contributed by: Beatrice Scott on 12/22/2006

Historians are seeking your help to collect newspaper clippings, pictures or memos that you may have in your possession concerning your club's news. The historian is particularly interested in items from Camellia, Taka, Debonair's, East Denver, Labella, Pond Lily, Self Improvement, Traveland Culture, Zora Neale Hurston Literary and others.
Our mission is to provide material of interest of many generations to be stored correctly for all communities. The research is for the world to know of the history of others. Any input from the communities will be of valuable service to many for years of research. Recognition within the clubs is of importance. We are losing older clubs and adding new ones.
Regional convention is in Denver in 2007 and the national convention is in Denver in 2008, adding more to our history.

For more information please contact B. Scott at 303-373-4990.
