Don Meersman wins Top Teacher award

Congratulations to woodworking and metals teacher Don Meersman for winning the YourHub.com Fall Semester Top Teacher award.

Mother Deborah Venrick, of Centennial, nominated Meersman for his dedication and for going the extra mile for his students. Among other projects, Meersman helped Venrick's son Connor create a gumball machine, portable parallel bars and chess table at Powell Middle School in Littleton. Meersman will receive one year of Starbucks whole bean coffee, a brand-new espresso machine, and a Starbucks Card loaded with $150. Look for a full-page ad about Meersman's win in the Dec. 21 print edition of YourHub.com.
