Jabber (ID No. A106969) is a 2-year-old neutered domestic short-hair. This friendly fellow certainly isn't the shy type; he prefers being around people, comes when called and loves being picked up and held.
Jabber would make a great companion for a family with children. He is comfortable around other cats, but isn't a good fit for a family with a dog; dogs make him quite nervous. Jabber is completely litter box trained and keeps himself well-groomed. He's available for immediate adoption at the Aurora Animal Shelter, 15750 E. 32 nd Avenue. Shelter information is available online at
www.auroragov.org/animal and by calling 303-326-8280.
Shelter Tip: Spring is rapidly approaching and animals are shedding their heavy winter coats. Cats speed this process along by licking their fur.
Laxtone, a product available at most local pet supply stores, helps cats pass loose hair through their entire digestive system, and can be used to prevent or diminish problems with hairballs. If your kitty is having hairball difficulties, ask for your veterinarian for additional preventive measures or treatments.
