Test Fido's manners March 25
Contributed by: Julie Patterson on 3/3/2006

Test your canine companion’s behavior around humans and other dogs, and ability to perform basic obedience commands with the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Test from 2 to 6 p.m. March 25 at Expo Recreation Center, 10955 E. Exposition Ave.

The AKC’s Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. The cost for the test is $10 per dog.

Some municipalities offer discounts on license fees for dogs that have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Call your local municipality for details.

For more information on the March 25 test day, call 303-326-8630. For more information on the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test, visit www.akc.org/events/cgc/index.cfm.
