My dad's the best!
Contributed by: Erin Di Paolo on 6/9/2007

Story by Alessandra Di Paolo

There are many reasons why my dad is the best. I am going to write about four of them.

First, my dad deserves to win because he takes care of me and my brothers and my mom. He takes care of us when we are sick. At night, if we get sick, he stays downstairs with us. He lays on one couch and one of us lays on the other. Then we fall asleep. Plus he cleans up our throw up in the middle of the night.

Next, my dad should be chosen because he goes to work. When he works, he provides us with food on the table. He works hard. He goes to work everyday and works so hard because he loves us and wants to make sure we get the things we need.

Another reason my dad should win is because he is a fun dad. My dad loves to play with us. He takes us to the park and we practice baseball.

Lastly, my dad deserves to be chosen because he works hard at home. My dad works in our yard a lot. Our grass is green. We have about 45 rose bushes. We also have grapevines and strawberry plants. We have a pond, too. He loves to cook for us. He also cleans toilets, vacuums, and he does a lot of other things in our house and oustide of our house.

Obviously, my dad deserves to win the dad award because he is the best dad ever!
