What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS In addition to individual psychotherapy sessions, Dr. Wilson also offers two ongoing therapy groups. Both of these therapy groups meet weekly and are "process" oriented. A process group is a place where a diverse group of individuals meet (for a set time every week) to discuss and share whatever is going on in their minds and lives. All the group members have different and varying struggles and challenges that they are seeking to address. Under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Wilson, "process group" clients learn to open themselves up and work with their respective issues by using the group as a foundation of insight, openness and awareness. Clients are often amazed at how a group of total strangers can quickly transform into a source of wisdom and insight. Like individual psychotherapy, group therapy is founded in mindfulness and the groups are often opened with a few minutes of silent meditation. Members are also instructed in mindfulness meditation and asked to meditate (to practice the techniques of mindfulness) outside of the weekly group sessions. The cost per member per week is $40. Groups are limited to eight members. Currently two process groups are in existence: Process Group #1: Thursdays from 7:00pm - 8:30pm. This group is open to new members.
