CELEBRITY BARTENDER NIGHT BENEFITS CHARITY

PRO PLAYERS ASSOCIATION proudly presents a CELEBRITY BARTENDER NIGHT FOR CHARITY on Thursday, March 15th, 6 - 9PM; at the Purple Martini, 8000 E. Belleview Ave, Greenwood Village to benefit the Fetal Hope Foundation.


Come and meet the Celebrities from Pro Sports, Media and Entertainment who will be behind the bar to mix, shake, stir, pull and pour your drinks. All tips collected by the bartenders will benefit the charity.

Admission to the event is $20 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance. Each ticket holder will receive a complimentary special Bacardi drink, a commemorative event tee shirt, a Purple Martini 2007 calendar, and an opportunity to win one of several door prizes. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Bedz of KS107.5 radio. Professional Auctioneer Christine Dickensheet will call our 'Live' Auction. Check out the photos at right to see some of the awesome and unique items that will be up for bid. Included in the auction will be the opportunity to win the right to display your company logo on the hood of a NASCAR!


Some of the celebrities scheduled to appear include former Denver Broncos Ron Egloff, Le-Lo Lang, Mark Cooper, Larry Brunson, Michael Ditchfield, Marvin Montgomery, Chuck Gavin, Bill Harris, Michael Young (VP of the Colorado Crush), former Green Bay Packer Walter Stanley, former Seattle Seahawk Jody Johnson, former Kansas City Chief Fred Mc Henry, Texas Longhorns Offensive Guard Kasey Studdard, NASCAR Driver #62 Jim Bob Rogers, Heavyweight Boxing Champion Ron Lyle, WBC Light Welterweight World Champion "Lightning" Lonnie Smith, 5X Kickboxing & Ultimate Fighting World Champion Jeff Ford, Mr. America 1986 Tom Terwilliger and KMGH-7 Sports Anchor Steve Gottsegen. Current members of the Colorado Crush Arena Football Team will also attend.

The Fetal Hope Foundation's mission is to provide support, provide information, fund research, increase awareness and be an outlet for leading medical information pertaining to fetal distresses and syndromes. They are all about arming families with information to save their baby's lives.


Aligned with some of the world's leading fetal medicine centers, Fetal Hope has been organized to provide accurate and factual information for families dealing with syndromes. Thousand of pregnancies are affected each year, but many go undiagnosed and/or untreated. On average 15 babies die each day from the affects of these syndromes. Some may have been saved with proper diagnosis and treatment.


Upon diagnosis families often struggle with not knowing or knowing little about their diagnosis, they feel alone in their search for information, help and support. Fetal Hope Foundation was established to provide the information, help and support to those in need. For more information on the charity, please refer to their web site:

Pro Players Association is a community service organization comprised of current and former professional athletes , media and entertainment personalities, and associate members who work voluntarily on behalf of the community. Pro Players Association's goal is to raise money for worthwhile programs and charities.
