Rotary volunteerism

BE A VOLUNTEER

Every person has a chance to be influential and make a difference in the world by being a volunteer. We can start small, on a local level. We can greatly magnify our influence if we join a Rotary. "Everyone is a volunteer in this organization. Everyone has some stewardship or personal responsibility to improve our community."

The dominant force of our society is the GOODNESS in the OVERWHELMING majority of the people. Our country does more volunteer work than any country in the world. We need to step up the pace, lengthen our stride, look for ways to leverage our influence, win-win situations for the many others.

“We Rotarians are fortunate in that we have the resources to deal with the problems of everyday living that may threaten us and our families. Sadly, there is a large segment of the world’s population that does not have or know how to obtain the help they so greatly need to get a fresh water supply, grow better crops, or how to solve a myriad of other problems.”
