Highlighting the Installation Service Sunday of Rev.
Barb LeFevre Lyons as Presbyterian Church of the Covenant's new minister was the presence of Rev.
Jim Sillerud. He is a long time friend and Pastor of First Presbyterian, Granada Hills, California.
For 12 years Pastor Barb served as an senior associate to Pastor Sillerud at the First Presbyterian Church of Granada Hills. She is the first female minister in PCOC's 34 year history. The church is located at 5400 So. Yosemite St., Greenwood Village.
As the guest preacher , Rev. Sillerud shared with the congregation memories of Pastor Barb and what she meant to the California church members. " You are blessed to have Barb as your Pastor," said Rev. Sillerud. " She has outstanding vision and her love and faith in the Holy Spirit will move this church forward."
" I praise God for being here," Rev. Barb said. "Although my years at First Presbyterian Church in Granada Hills are memorable, I have found tremendous support and love from PCOC's members. My family and I are pleased and blessed to return to Colorado." . Rev. Lyons grew up in Colorado Springs.

Nickie Scheurwater, an Elder at Wellshire Presbyterian Church and was on the Ministry Liaison to the Pastor Nominating Committee, and Rev.
Jim Deters, Pastor of Bennett Presbyterian Church.
