The Light the Night Walk is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer. People form in teams of friends and family or co-workers. They raise funds for cancer research and bring help and hope to people battling cancer.
On Walk night, they gather in cities and towns across North American. Walking in twilight, they hold illuminated balloons -white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold in memory of a life lost. More than a walk, the evening is a supportive community gathering that includes music, food, and family activities.
