Save at Macy's and Help Save an Abused Animal
Contributed by: Christine Zipps on 8/19/2008

Donate $5 to Colorado Animal Rescue Express (C.A.R.E.) and receive a 10-20% discount pass on most purchases at all Macy's stores nationwide on September 20, 2008. Macy's Shop for a Cause Day will support C.A.R.E. as it saves more homeless pets with transportation to Colorado rescue groups.

Simply, go to C.A.R.E.'s website, www.caretransport.org, to donate online. Be sure to indicate what rescue group is to benefit from the $5 pass purchase. Donations can also be mailed to C.A.R.E. 5276 S. Hanover WayEnglewoodCO80111. C.A.R.E. will mail out all passes promptly. After September 20, C.A.R.E. will mail a check to each rescue for 50% of the donations sent to us by way of a referral from them.

It costs C.A.R.E. over $30 to transport an animal from a high kill Midwest shelter to a Colorado rescue group. In the last 14 months, C.A.R.E. has saved over 2100 animals through life saving transports. Please think about buying a few passes for your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. Share this email with everyone you know and ask them to support C.A.R.E. with a minimal $5 donation that will be shared 50% with the rescue of your choice.

Any questions, please contact Lisa Mendelsberg at helpingdogs@hotmail.com

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING C.A.R.E. AND RESCUE ANIMALS!!!
