At approximately 2:26 a.m. on the morning ofOct. 29,officers responded to the 7-11 Store located at 6515 S. Dayton Street, on a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Officers confirmed that two males had entered the store and had taken an undisclosed amount of cash. One of the subjects placed his hand in his coat simulating that he had a weapon. The subjects then left the store on foot.
Officers tracked the footprints in the snow to the Motel 6 west of the 7-11 location. Officers made several attempts to make contact with the subjects at the hotel.At approximately 11:45 a.m. three subjects voluntarily surrendered themselves to the officers and were taken into custody without incident.
The three subjects were found to be wanted fugitives from the Arapahoe County Centennial Community Transition Center, who had escaped from that facility on 10.25.09. Investigation of the robbery continues at this time. The three subjects are identified as:
Patrick Kelly Moat, age 21
Ryan James Spear, age 20
Brian Coshnitzke, age 22
