Girl's lacrosse state playoffs

The girl's lacrosse state championship series has advanced to the semifinal round, to be played Saturday May 13 at Stutler Bowl at Cherry Creek High School.

Four teams remain, after strong performances in the quarterfinal round. Kent Denver beat Mullen 20-3; Colorado Academy beat East 17-7; Golden beat Air Academy 12-9; and Cherry Creek beat Heritage 22-3.

The No. 1seed Kent Denver Sun Devils (17-0) will face Colorado Academy (12-5) and the no. 2 seed Cherry Creek Bruins (12-3) will face Golden (12-5) with the winners meeting in the championship game, also at the Stutler Bowl, on Wednesday May 17.
