"I'm ready for my close-up Mr. Dean."
If DNC planning, or lack thereof often seems more like a Will Ferrell comedy, I can't blame you. Because the DNC looks more and more like a movie than the real deal.
Turns out the DNC's Queen of Green, Andrea Robinson is really a Hollywood actress. Or enviromental expert. Depends on what you read, and where.
To her credit, she worked quite a lot in shows like Doc, The West Wing, Melrose Place. and
CSI Miami. According to the Rocky Mountain News she does have a degree in Environmental Science.
Her official DNC bio says she has 25 years experience of environmental experience. That means she would have started when she was 13.
Perhaps she did a good job cleaning up her neighborhood lemonade stand as a kid.
Now she's the Democratic Convention Director of Greening.
So exactly who is she, really?
This is
one site I found when I Googled her.
This is her
"official bio" on the DNC website.
Does she look old enough to have 25 years of experience? Maybe it's the make-up.
Robinson by the way, came up with the environmentally friendly, biodegradable, union made fanny pack idea. The only problem was it was impossible to produce.
Of course, there is a long established connection between Tinseltown and Democrats. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
I'm surprised they didn't make
Christian Bale head of DNC security. The Bat Light would have looked cool over LoDo.
Out of fairness however, it should be noted that Ronald Reagan, one of our greatest presidents ever, was an actor too. That worked out pretty good for all of us. All that counts is getting the job done. He did, and she just might too!
Thursday memo:
FOX News is reporting the Russians are considering basing long-range nuclear bombers in Cuba. It's bad enough we're going to have to recreate '68. Heaven forbid we recreate '62.
