Gassed up the car yesterday and noticed Regular was $3.89 a gallon. My mom told she just filled up for $3.79 per gallon in Minnesota. You betcha!
Happy Days are here again.
No doubt a small reflection of how the price per barrel has dropped recently.
So now is the time to conserve more than ever before.
I've blogged numerous times about my hypermiling efforts and once again will show you the story
NEWS4 did about my experience.
But this appears to be a good example of if we all do a little, we can accomplish a lot.
Frankly I'd be surprised if gas would drop below $3.50 per gallon, but one never knows. But we remain at the whim of national and international market forces that I can't understand. Nor can we control.
What I do know is, long as we use less, we'll all save more. Stay hyper my friends. Again, we're on our own here. Washington can't solve the problem because they're incapable of solving anything.
Monday Memo:
Shame on
NASCAR for that fiasco of a race at Indy yesterday. There were so many competition yellows I was seeing red before I fell asleep I was so bored. Fans got the shaft.
Good for Dave Despain, the Wind Tunnel gang and DW for having the courage to say that it stunk. Big time.
Indy is a fabulous place, I've been twice for both the 500 and the Brickyard. Fan deserve better.
