TEXAS
#3 ranked Texas appears to control (sort of )its destiny. Just win Bevo. Kansas State (no pushover) and the Aggies (they'll need a 13th man) remain on the regular season schedule.
Here's where 'Horn fans have to cheer on OU. A one-week limited time offer. Texas Tech pays a visit to Norman, OK on November 22. If OU wins, Texas will likely play in the Big 12 Champship. Well, a definate maybe.
It's all complicated, but if all this happens, Texas would be ranked higher than Tech or the Sooners in the BCS poll, which would be the 5th tiebreaker. Missouri is the likely Big 12 North team they would play, Texas took care of them easily this year.
"Goin' to Kansas City, Kansas City here I come....."
Win the Big 12 and it's the 'Horns vs either 'Bama or Florida for the BCS Championship. If not, it looks like a trip to the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State or Utah. If you told 'Horn fans these would be the scenarios at the beginning of the season, not many would have believed you.
AUBURN
#10 Georgia (Woof Woof!) comes to Auburn. I know what you're thinking, no toilet paper Saturday night. Not so fast my friend. (Thanks Lee) Despite the fact my son-in-law is a 2nd generation Auburn grad and despite the best efforts of Aunty Brea (Texas '03) my grandkids will likely be 3rd generation Auburn grads, I still smell upset. There's no place like home, and Auburn has nothing to lose so why not?

WYOMING
The Pokes lost to the Runnin' Rubble of UNLV Thursday night in front of a crowd of several hundred people. The bar for Coach Joe Glenn was 7 wins this year, at best he'll win 5 IF the Pokes beat CSU next weekend.
As was the case this season, the Pokes threw interceptions and fumbled the ball. The running game was stricly East-West.
Joe Glennmight indeedbe a "Rootin-tootin, high fallootin', sonofagun from old WYO, ragtime cowboy, talk about your cowboy, ragtime cowboy Joe." But he just ain't the guy to get the Pokes back to respectability. Look for the "4-Sale" signs up this week at his house.
It's sort of a slow weekend in college football, it really all comes down to the Thanksgiving Day matchups just down the road. Although OSU vs the Golden Puffs might be fun to watch Saturday night.
That said, root for your team. It's college football!
