It's been 20 years since the Tiennanman Massacre where Chinese protesters were literally crushed by tanks, simply because they wanted freedom.
Much has changed in the past 20 years, a lot of it good. Last year the Chinese got a great chance to redeem its image by putting on a terrific Olympic Games.
But China remains an authoritarian regime.
These past 20 years also brought the Internet, then the resulting advances that include today's social pages, Twitter etc.
But the Chinese Government is cutting off access to social media, an "Out of sight, out of mind and off the 'Net philosophy.
So when you blog or Twitter today, appreciate the freedom to do so. Millions don't have the same privilege
