Positive Customer Service! Share your experience h
I was the recipent of some great customer service by a local business and wanted to spread the word. The BBB has complaints but nothing to provide positive feedback (for obvious reasons). We often look for the negative side of things but lets recognize some of the positive experiences we have with local businesses! I send the cursory web response to the corporate goombahs via their website. But I'd like to let everyone know about the good folks out there! So I decided to share these positive experiences and hopefully provide a place for others to tell everyone about theirs as well. This is my little effort to recognize the lost art of GREAT customer service

A&A Topper Sales Littleton
Contributed by: Scott Penland   on 8/5/2007

My great service came from A&A Topper Sales in Littleton. My 4 year old Leer topper roof started sagging in the middle. I had noted that A&A changed owners awile back. I thought I'd be in for the run around. I called Brian at A&A and explained the problem. He told me to bring it in.

I arrive, no appointment, they look at it, tell me what probably happened was delamination. They pop it off and I'm on my way. In 4-5 weeks I'll have a new topper.

Brian tells me he is the second new owner after he had the opportunity to purchase it from the company that initially had purchased the business and wasn't successful.

I related a story to Brian about my purchase 4 years earlier that Leer was offering $100 off from an online coupon that I didn't bring with me but was necessary at time of order. The manager told me he would honor it and to bring it in when my topper arrived and I made final payment. When I came to pick up the topper and pay the balance, another employee said if it was his business, "he wouldn't honor the offer." Ends up that manager 4 years ago was Brian, now the owner! Score one for the good guys who understand customer service!

And Brian has some other great folks working with him. Darrin was working with Brian back then too. They both chuckled as the looked over their old business cards before taking ownership and providing GREAT customer service. (Darrin wasn't the employee who wouldn't honor the managers deal!). Honest business that stands behind their products! And the best part, no run around!

Nice to see that there are some honest business owners out there that understand if not but for the customer, there would be no business. Also, a happy customer tells friends and provides free advertising.
