Blog Entry 14 of 17 Simple Can Be Best

There are moments in someone's life that just shouldn't be kept to themselves, rather shared with others for knowledge, wisdom, peace of mind or just a good laugh. I have experienced many things, yet still have a lot of living to do. But for now, these are my stories, a peek inside a life well lived so far - because simple can sometimes be best.

I am reaching towards you,
my purple tendrils stretched
out like new buds, longing the arrival of
your new spring.
Am I too soon?
You call out for rain,
unwanted snow flourishes in daydreams of
summer nights sprinkle out like
mill-dew on morning grass.
I wait for you, chilled in crystallized
patterns of ice forming frozen
waterfalls on my legs, landing
on my infant pedals,
I am dying.
I bloomed too soon for your new spring.
