Obama's Media Magical Mystery Tour

Barack Obama is taking his Presidential Campaign to Europe and the Middle East.

He's not likely to find many people there who can vote for him there, but he'll do his darndest to look "Presidential" so look for lots of photo ops in front of recognizable landmarks with recognizable people.

Foreign leaders will have to do a delicate tap dance so not to look llike they're interfering with our election. Forget about a shot in front of 10 Downing.

Can you imagine someone running for Prime Minister of England and campaigning in New Hampshire? Same thing.

Following along like hungry puppy dogs will be the anchors of what used to be the three major networks, ABC, NBC and CBS. Of course FOX, CNN et al will also be along. All will open their newscasts with great seriousness and fanfare, after all, this is Barack Obama campaigning half a world away for a job here.

And here's the real stink about this. John McCain has made THREE MAJOR OVERSEAS TRIPS IN THE PAST YEAR AND NONE OF THE NETWORK ANCHORS HAVE GONE WITH HIM!

BIAS?? YOU BET!!!!!!

The real reason the media elite are going is to be there in case Obama screws up. It's true. Truth is they're so strapped for cash they wish Obama wasn't making the trip. But also scared to death what would happen if Brian Williams went and they didn't. Lemmings jumping the shark.

Obama is hitting France, Germany, England plus stops in Iraq and Afghanistan. No mention of Iran.

Here are the images you'll see:

1. With foreign leaders (Wearing a suit)
2. Recognizable Landmarks (Suit jacket off)
3. With our troops and especially commanders. (Khakis and shirt, no tie)

He'll look serious when appropriate and flash that smile when needed.

Then he'll come back after a few days away as a "World Leader." He will have answers to all the problems that have vexed so many leaders since the end of World War II. His foreign policy credentials will be secure.

Unless he screws something up. Again, that's really why the networks are coming along. But likely it will be one long foreign policy commercial. And Katie and Brian will go along with it all. Charlie Gibson will call it like it is. All will have "exclusive" sit downs with Obama.

I'm not sure how many people from FOX news will be allowed to come along. For sure it won't be Bill O'Reilly.

I'm betting Obama lapdog Wolf Blitzer will be the lead CNN guy. Ditto for Anderson Cooper. (Smooch smooch-mean it)

I'd love to see the network expense reports for Chap Stick from kissing Barack's butt.
