Politics to life in general, a view from a slightly right of center/off-kilter guy.

Cowboy Church soothes the soul
Contributed by: Brian Olson   on 7/20/2008

We were down in Westcliffe at the cabin for the weekend, went to the rodeo yesterday then had dinner, visited neighbors down the road and and went for a late evening walk.

This morning we were up bright and early for something called Cowboy Church. If there's a rodeo, there's a Cowboy Church.

You wear your jeans, your boots and hat and praise the Lord the same place you were cheering on barrel racers the day before.

It's pure, simple and honest. None of the politics that frankly have soured us on organized religion. Just good music under beautiful blue skies and the Word.

It's was especially meaningful for us on this day and a much needed spiritual pick up for my wife and I.

Cowboy Church. Christian Buckaroos.

Thank you Jesus.
