A political pundit said most of us live life between the 40 yard lines. I'm one of them. Most of the time. Sometimes I'm right of center, sometimes the other way around.

One of the best fall seasons ever

I've lived in Colorado for 10 years. Highlands Ranch and Westcliffe, CO are home for us and I can't recall a more beautiful Fall than this one.

My wife and I spent last weekend horseback riding in the Sangre de Cristo Range outside of Westcliffe. There wasn't a cloud in the beautiful blue sky, the trees were at peak, or nearing it and never was heard one single discouraging word.

It's impossible to share the beauty of Colorado in mere words. So I'll let the attached pictures complete the story.

Ahhh. That's progress. As a mountain william (hillbilly) from way back, I never get tired of looking at trees and rocks. T'wer the rest of life so simple. Mid-September my lady and I did a road trip through Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Paonia, and obscure but beautiful Gateway (http://www.gatewaycanyons.com/) Colorado. We also spent several days in Moab looking at rocks and NO trees. Colorado is a great state to live in, with lots to see and do everywhere. (As for Utah, I still think the Presbyterians should have gotten it instead of the Mormons.) :-)
