I started blogging to see what my stuff looks like in print...and to open up to interaction with other writers. But then I wanted to crawl back into my cave and forget about it, keep it all to myself... I mean people actually read my stuff and commented on it and RATED it... AUGGH... here's to just getting it out of my head

WELL DONE, VIRGINIA AND NEW JERSEY

DID YOU LISTEN TO MSNBC THIS MORNING?

WHAT'S THAT? CRITICISM OF BARNEY FRANK?

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? IT'S JOBS, STUPID?

HMMM?THE IDEA OF MORE TAXES ISN'T BEING EMBRACED?

VOTERS DIDN'T FALL AT THE FEET OF THOSE ENDORSED BY THE MIGHTY ORATOR?

I think I'll have a cup of tea and enjoy the moment...

it's going to be one heck of an ugly fight in the next twelve months...

I think it will be a great fight in the next 12 to 36 months. (12 to get more Republican House and Senate seats, 36 to oust the one-term, boy, non-wonder, president.) It's this kind of peaceful overthrow of Socialism, via the ballot box, that makes us a great and free country. And don't forget the poor little 23rd Congressional District, where a Democrat won the special election (and thus presumably can be defeated in 12 months at the regular elections). Republicans were victorious in defeating a very left-leaning so-called Republican in a triumph of principle over pragmatism. I don't think every Republican has to be a "hard core" Conservative, but it's my preference our representatives are "core" Conservatives. Michelle Malkin has a nice piece on the issue: http://michellemalkin.com/2009/11/04/the-gop-elites-1-million-object-lesson-and-the-message-of-ny-23/
