Imagine you're playing one of those multi-million dollar Texas Hold 'em Tournaments in Las Vegas and you're holding a Royal Flush.

It's just you and one other player and again, you're holding the highest hand in the land. Millions sit in the pot. How can you lose?

It seems the Obama Administration would really suck at poker. Here they are with complete control of the House, the Senate and of course, The White House. A political Royal Flush.

And the only thing they can pass is gas.

Speaker Pelosi says she's gong "All In" with a vote on the House version of Healthcare "reform" this Saturday. It doesn't matter. Whatever she and the rest of her Romper Room crowd pass, still faces the Senate Version and that's where the grown-ups legislate. They're also a little better at reading the tea leaves from last Tuesday night.

Cap and Trade? Forget about it.
Healthcare Reform? Maybe, but keep in mind it was supposed to pass before August, then just after August, then this month. Not it appears the earliest a vote could happen, key word being "could" would be early next year after the holiday recess.

Then there's the whole Afghanistan "thing." Right now the strategy appears to be borrowed from Scarlet O'Hara. "Fiddley Dee, I'll just worry about it tomorrow."

Frankly my dear, I indeed give a damn.

In 2010. Uh-oh. That's an election year. Blue dogs are going to remember what happened this week in Virginia and New Jersey and think again about sticking their political necks out for a President who plain and simple, has not coat tails.

Obama campaigned big-time for Democrats in Virginia and New Jersey. They lost. Presidential approval ratings hover around 50% and if unemployment hits 10% this Friday, or even higher, he'll sink like a stone in a very deep ocean.

He had a Royal Flush, and flushed it down the toilet. The Obama machine didn't realize what we did all along, it's the economy, stupid.
