'Mommy and Me' Yoga Comes to Ya Ya Yoga

What:	"Mommy and Me" yoga classes designed specifically for moms and babies from four weeks old to walking. Classes will begin at Ya Ya on Tuesday, February 5. The four-class series will be held Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Classes offer unique yoga postures designed to support baby's development and are filled with calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding and improve baby's sleep and digestion, helping to ease tummy troubles. New moms learn to reduce fussiness, enhance baby's motor development, encourage neuromuscular development and strengthen baby's immune system. Babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms. The classes offer the opportunity to meet other moms, enjoy mom to mom support and learn about baby's emerging personality. Moms will practice gentle vinyasa (flow) poses that open the body and counteract the changes in their bodies. Moms will also learn breathing and relaxation techniques. No yoga experience is required.
