Many residents in Douglas County have had questions about the proposed Neighborhood Library at Castle Pines. Here are some facts:

· The new library facility will only be constructed if new funding is found - see ballot resolution at DouglasCountyLibraries.org/AboutUs/MillLevy.

· The Neighborhood Library would be approximately 6,500 square feet, creating a new and vibrant "hub of the community" for the Castle Pines area.

· The new Neighborhood Library at Castle Pines would have much-needed meeting room space, computers and free access to the Internet.

· Patrons from around the county could access the new library's expanded collection of books, music, magazines, movies and research resources; and of course, with a new Neighborhood Library at Castle Pines comes a stronger, county-wide library system.

· Endorsed by the Castle Pines North Metropolitan District and the City of Castle Pines North plus nearly a dozen additional Douglas County organizations.
