After being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer three years ago and given a 50 percent chance of survival, Lauren Miller is now cancer-free.
The author of
Hearing His Whisper wants to help those facing a similar fate by donating 50 percent of her royalties from her upcoming virtual book event to Denver-based
Sense of Security - a charity serving women struggling with paying their medical bills after a cancer diagnosis.
To commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Miller is hosting a one-day book party via Amazon.com on October 27. She will donate a percentage of the proceeds from her book
Hearing His Whisper during this 24 hour
virtual book event.
The second charity that will benefit from this one-day event is the Breast
Cancer Network of Strength, a national organization of survivors helping patients, understanding the value of peer support-talking to someone else who has also heard those devastating words, "You have breast cancer."
Miller penned
Hearing His Whisper, an intimate conversation with God, during her struggle with cancer and in the midst of a divorce. Her inspirational wisdom will encourage and equip women who silently face a similar journey.
Today Lauren's cancer is in remission and she is engaged to be married in October. For more information about her virtual book party on Amazon.com, visit her website at www.laurenemiller.com.
