Victoria Torok has two passions in life-dancing and fitness. After way too many years in Information Technology, she tried a home-based business. While she loved being self-employed, she hated the industry that she had chosen. So, she sold her client portfolio and started the search for her next business.
One day after she had finished working out, she saw a sign that read, "We need personal trainers". She had her first epiphany. "I loved fitness, so why couldn't I educate myself about new techniques and trends in fitness," Torok thought. So, off she went to get her certification for personal training.
Like most newly certified personal trainers, Torok went to work for a "big gym". "Although I enjoyed working with my clients, it took me only four months to realize this was just like the corporate world-quotas were more important than the clients, and I didn't have much flexibility in working with my clients," Torok explains. "It was a cookie cutter approach to training instead of individualized program design based on age and fitness level. To make matters worse, the trainers weren't treated with much respect and were poorly paid."
That was her second epiphany and the birth of Elite Mobile Fitness-a personal training company that delivers top-notch personal training with all of the care and customization the client deserves, delivered to their home.
"We seek out the 'cream-of-the-crop' personal trainers, and respect and reward them for the professionals that they are," Torok continues. "Our clients are executives who are too busy to get to the gym, women who feel more comfortable working out in the privacy of their home, and others in the South Metro Area who are ready to get serious about fitness results. We deliver the trainer, the program and the results to your door. At age 59, I feel that my passion and vision have come together with this company."
