Get Crazy with Quilting

Local author and quilter, Cindy Brick drops into Philip S. Miller Library (100 S. Wilcox St., Castle Rock), Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to noon to share the colorful history of the crazy quilt, including examples from the 1850s to present, and sign copies of her new bestselling book, Crazy Quilts: History-Techniques-Embroidery Motifs. Cindy is an editor, designer and writer, including the "Old Things Considered" columnist for McCall's Vintage Quilts, who travels the world teaching about quilting and quilt history. Books will be available to purchase for $26.99. Please bring cash or check. Registration is required.
