An annual juried art exhibit displaying a wide variety of media will kick off with a reception Friday evening, July 11, at the Colorado Gallery of the Arts in the Arapahoe Community College Annex. The Arts Alliance of Littleton's Annual Kaleidoscope Exhibition will run from July 11 through Aug. 8 at the Gallery.
The exhibit will consist of drawings, ceramics, jewelry, painting, photography and sculpture. First, second and third places will be awarded. The show is sponsored by the Scientific Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).
The opening reception on July 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. is open to the public and refreshments will be served. Summer hours for the exhibit and the Colorado Gallery of the Arts are Thursday through Friday, noon to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The gallery is located on the first floor of the College's Annex building at 5900 S. Santa Fe Drive in Littleton.
