New Eagle Scout
On 8/20/2006
Contributed by: James Syring on 8/21/2006

The journey from Cub Scout to Eagle Scout is long and arduous. For Ben Hobstetter, that journey was completed on August 20 th when he was elevated to the rank of Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor held at Rockland Community Church in Golden, Colorado.

Ben, 14, the son of Bill and Judy Hobstetter, has been a member of Littleton Scout Troop 686 for 4 years. Ben's father and grandfather were also Eagle Scouts. Only two percent of scouts attain the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the organization.
