CU Grad Earns Highest Honors

Christine Bennett, a Highlands Ranch resident, graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with the highest honors distinction, Summa cum Laude, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In order to earn this distinction, Christine completed an honors thesis, titled Categorization of Faces: Using Context to Change Perception of Ambiguous Faces. During her time at CU, Christine served as Chapter President of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity and was a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Christine will join Teach for America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the achievement gap between affluent and low-income communities. Christine will be teaching elementary school in the San Francisco Bay Area for the next two years.
