Starting traditions at Rock Canyon High School has been much harder than our class ever thought; we quickly realized the patience and determination it takes to turn ideas into events.
We have been, are, and always will be the first class of RCHS -- we were the first to walk through the doors, the first to see Homecoming at Rock Canyon, and the first to bond as "Canyon Crazies" at sporting events. We were the first to attend Prom, the first to hold a bonfire, and the first to do a senior prank at RCHS. Our class is home to Rock Canyon's first regional and state champions, the first senior class officers and the first true valedictorians. We will be the first to come back at Homecoming next year as well as the first to hold a RCHS 10 year reunion.
Hopefully we have built a strong foundation for our underclassmen and have shown them that not only can we be the first class of students through our school's gates but we can also demonstrate a first class attitude, and an attitude which should be continued at RCHS. It has truly been an honor for me to be a part of this first class, and as the first senior class president, I truly believe Rock Canyon would not be where it is today without the support and loyalty of our community and parents.
