Dear Rock Canyon High School Class of 2007,
First off, let me say how proud I am of each of you, and how honored I am to have had the opportunity to be your Principal for the past 4 years. We set out together as a group to build a great high school, and the events of the last two weeks confirmed that you met the challenge individually and as a class. Your leadership and thirst for excellence allowed us to open a building and grow it into an excellent high school.
While Rock Canyon will continue to flourish under the leadership of a new class, your mark is forever. Every time you go by McArthur Ranch and Monarch, you can say with pride that you were among the first to do a multitude of things. Your focus on achievement in Academics, Athletics and Activities allowed you to reach many goals, both personally and collectively.
As you now move into the next stage in your lives, remember some of the lessons you learned about respect, hard work, goal setting and commitment. You learned how to strive for personal goals, be a part of a team with a larger focus, and you did it with class.
In closing, the faculty and staff of Rock Canyon High School are proud of the work we have done together the past four years...go forward and make your dreams become reality. Go Jaguars!
Sincerely,
Daniel M. McMinimee
