Douglas County and the Highlands Ranch Metro District have partnered to welcome
Jodie McCann
as the Metro District's Senior Services Coordinator. Jodie will address the emerging needs of the maturing population in Highlands Ranch. She can be reached at the Metro District's office at 62 W. Plaza Drive in
Highlands Ranch.
Jodie's role is to act as a clearinghouse, providing information and resources to Highlands Ranch senior adults and families who are uncertain where to find services. She will also bring educational programming to our community by working closely with Douglas County Senior Outreach Services as well as other public and private organizations in Highlands Ranch.
Jodie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Gerontology from the University of Minnesota and certificates in Dementia Care from the Alzheimer's Association and Gerontology Studies from the University of Denver. Her experience in long term care administration and human resources, senior housing and healthcare sales and marketing, intergenerational programming and in-home care franchise support, marketing and training, make Jodie a great resource for Highlands Ranch residents.
A resident of Highlands Ranch for more than 11 years, away from work, Jodie enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, music, reading and entertaining friends and family.
If you have questions regarding senior-related services, or if you have special needs or suggestions, please contact Jodie at 720-240-4922 or at jmccann@highlandsranch.org. You may also make an appointment for one-on-one time with Jodie on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Look for updates and information on senior-related topics in the Get Involved section at www.highlandsranch.org.
