Highlands Ranch Library (9292 Ridgeline Boulevard) is offering a two-part AARP driver's safety and refresher course from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 18 for drivers over 50 years old. Attendance is required both days to complete the class and potentially qualify for insurance rate discounts. A $10 fee will be collected at the first class and registration is required. This is a classroom refresher especially designed to meet the needs of older drivers. It covers age-related physical changes, declining perceptual skills, rules of the road, local driving problems, and license renewal requirements.
