Games People Play
Contributed by: Kristin Hayek on 9/5/2008

If you enjoy a challenge and you like games, head over to Highlands Ranch Library (9292 Ridgeline Boulevard). Every Sunday from noon to 2:00 p.m., families gather for the ancient game of Go. Go originated in China about 4,000 years ago. Though it is challenging, people of all ages can learn the basics in about 30 minutes and an instructor is available to help. No registration is necessary for this free family program.

Rooks and kings rule at the Chess Knights Club which meets every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Highlands Ranch Library. A volunteer is on hand to teach new strategies if you need help. No registration necessary.
