Contributed by: Kristin Hayek on 9/5/2008

View and discuss the Swedish film "My Life as a Dog" with Film Critic Walter Chaw on Friday, September 12 at 5:30 p.m. at The Neighborhood Library at Lone Tree (8827 Lone Tree Parkway). "My Life as a Dog" is directed by Lasse Hallstrom and tells the story of Ingemar, a young boy who lives with his brother and terminally ill mother. He knows life is difficult, but not as bad as Laika, the Russian dog who is sent into space. Ingemar is sent to stay with relations for the summer and while there, has experiences that will affect him for the rest of this life.
