Be a literacy volunteer
Contributed by: Kristin Hayek on 9/26/2008

Bring literacy to your community by volunteering for the Douglas County Libraries Literacy Department. A special adult literacy volunteer orientation and training will take place at the Highlands Ranch Library (9292 Ridgeline Boulevard) on Saturday, October 11, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can help someone learn English, sharpen their reading skills, or tutor them for their GED or citizenship test. Registration is required. To book your spot, stop by your library, call 303-791-READ, or visit the Programs & Events calendar at DouglasCountyLibraries.org.

If you would like more information about the Douglas County Libraries literacy programs, contact Molly Elkins, Literacy Specialist, at 303-791-READ, or you can
