The Douglas County Sheriff's Office arrested a Littleton man for a robbery that occurred Jan. 26 at a convenience store in Littleton, in unincorporated Douglas
County.
At about 1:26 a.m., deputies responded to the Circle K convenience store located at 8663 S. Quebec St. on the report of a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect had come into the store and was leaving with beer, without attempting to pay for it. The clerk stated that the male shoved past her and left the store with the alcohol. The witness/victim reported that the suspect was on foot running towards the Acres Green subdivision.
With the assistance of a Lone Tree Officer, a male was taken into custody. The store clerk positively identified him as the person that had shoved past her and then left the store with the beer.
Patrick Sanchez,
19, from Littleton, was taken into custody and transported to the Douglas County Detention Facility and booked in on the following:
*Robbery/class 4 felony
*Theft/class 2 misdemeanor
*Harassment/class 3 misdemeanor
This is still an open investigation and more information may be released when it is officially filed with the District Attorney's Office.
