COMPUTER EQUIPMENT STOLEN
A security guard at Sam's Club, 7817 Park Meadows Drive, stated someone stole a Dell projection system from the store at approximately 3 p.m. April 15. The guard stated he was near the jewelry counter when he heard the fire exit alarm go off. He ran to the door, but didn't see anything. However, when he went over surveillance footage, he noticed a man enter the store, pick up computer equipment and leave the aisle. He never saw the man leave the store. The guard believes the same man stole a flat-screen television from the store a month ago. There are currently no leads in the case.

MAN SHOWS UP DRUNK TO PICK UP WOMAN
A 28-year-old Highlands Ranch man was arrested April 13 after he showed up drunk at the police station to pick up his friend, who had just been arrested for a DUI. An officer stated he was in the process of releasing a 46-year-old Centennial woman to a sober party when he noticed the man who showed up to the station had bloodshot eyes and smelled like alcohol. When asked if he drove to the station, the man replied "yeah" and later said he drank a beer about an hour ago. The officer requested the man perform a roadside sobriety test, which he failed. He was arrested and later released to a sober party, as was the woman he was supposed to pick up.

A 47-year-old man and a 39-year-old man, both of Highlands Ranch, were issued summonses for disorderly conduct April 15 after a heated argument at a grocery store. The 47-year-old man stated he was walking through the parking lot of King Soopers, 2205 W. Wildcat Reserve Parkway, when he was nearly hit by the 39-year-old man's car.
