Alzheimer's Association Offers Care Giving Tips

The Alzheimer's Association of Colorado presents its Care Giving Tips and Coping Skills: Communication and Behaviors program on Tuesday, August 12 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Castle Rock Recreation Center, 2323 N. Woodlands Blvd., in Castle Rock.

This class provides Caregivers with effective tools to help understand difficult behaviors, how to avoid arguments, and become familiar with the triggers that elicit aggressive or dangerous behavior. Communication and Behaviors introduces successful communication skills for interacting with people with dementia. This class is for caregivers, family members, friends, professional and volunteer caregivers as well as those with Alzheimer's.

The Alzheimer's Association Colorado Chapter is the premier source of information and support for the more than 65,000 Coloradoans with Alzheimer's disease, their families and caregivers.
