Residents have a chance to enjoy fine lingerie, catered lunch and champagne-- all for a good cause.
Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie and the Highlands Ranch Community Association are teaming up again for the third annual In the Pink fashion show and champagne luncheon April 5 at the Recreation Center at Southridge, 4800 McArthur Ranch Road, in Highlands Ranch.
Tickets cost $37 for HRCA members and $40 for guests. Tickets must be purchased before 7 p.m. April 2 by calling 303-791-2500.
HRCA Community Relations Manager
Jamie Noebel
said the event started in 2006 after having a conversation with Pampered Passions owner
Alicia Vargo
.
"Breast cancer is so prevalent, we thought we'd see if there was something we could do," said Noebel, who is a breast cancer survivor. "We were looking for a different event that would really impact a charitable organization."
All proceeds from the fashion show will go to My House, a nonprofit organization based in Golden that provides "rest and solitude" -- including massages, manicures, pedicures and light lunches -- for women diagnosed with breast cancer. My House will be raffling prizes, and tickets will cost $5 each.
