De-registration of sexually violent predator

      On Oct. 18, Michael Christopher Carroll (03-23-68), who was
residing at 1780 Mountain Maple Avenue in Highlands Ranch Colorado, (classified as a Sexually Violent Predator) completed de-registration documents with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office showing his intent to permanently move to Key West Florida.
      Carroll arrived in Florida on Oct. 19, and registered with local Law Enforcement officials on Oct. 20 declaring his new residency within their jurisdiction.
      The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Carroll’s registration through Florida Law Enforcement officials.
      On Oct. 26, Sheriff’s Office Investigators met with the current homeowners at 1780 Mountain Maple Avenue, Highlands Ranch Colorado. The owners also confirmed that Carroll had moved to Florida.
      Due to Carroll’s change of residency, (no longer a Douglas County resident) the Sheriff’s Office is advising its citizens of his status and movement out of state. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation’s and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office websites show this change of status for Carroll.
