2005 Deputy and Civilian Staff Employees of Year

On Dec. 9,
Sheriff David Weaver
announced Douglas
County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and Civilian staff employees of the year. This year’s recipients were:

Civilian Darrel Lee Otterstein
Investigations
Sheriff’s Office personnel nominated members of the office, who were considered for the honor. All nominations went before an awards committee comprised of Sheriff’s Office Command Staff. Selection was then based on
different areas/categories to include excellence in job performance, commitment and dedication to the Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County and its Citizens.
Sheriff David Weaver and the members of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are proud to acknowledge the 2005 recipients. Weaver noted, “ They are devoted professionals, and are excellent representatives of the law
enforcement profession. They model what the we symbolize as a Sheriff’s Office, Leadership, Integrity and Service Excellence.”
The Castle Rock High Noon Rotary will be also be honoring Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Deputy of the Year recipient this Thursday at 12 p.m. at the Philip S. Miller Building located at 100 South Wilcox Street, Castle Rock. This meeting is open to the public.
