Bank of the West robbed. At 9:31 a.m. Nov. 6, deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a robbery at Bank of the West,
7120 E. County Line Road, Lone Tree. A 27-year-old man, dressed all in black, entered the bank and reportedly passed a note to the teller and left with an undisclosed amount. He was detained at a Wal-Mart.
Tricks with no treat. Early in the morning of Oct. 31, deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a vandalism at a home on the
9000 block of Miners Place, Highlands Ranch. A couple told deputies an outdoor lamp fixture and Halloween decoration were destroyed.
Items stolen from model home. At 12:50 p.m. Oct. 28, deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a burglary at a model home on the
10700 block of Featherwalk Lane, Highlands Ranch. Sales managers for Shea Homes told deputies a computer monitor was taken from the office area.
