DCSD ballot questions


As of now, we have received two questions for the November ballot from the Douglas County School District.

Mill Levy Override:

Douglas County School District requests a property tax increase of $5 million in fiscal year 2006/07 and annually thereafter to promote high student achievement, address growing student enrollment and other educational purposes.

General Obligation Bonds:

Douglas County School District, Number RE1 debt be increased $200,000,000, with a repayment cost of $362,762,000 and shall district taxes be increased $18,404,000 annually for the purpose of providing schools and classrooms throughout the community and to reduce reliance on portable trailers.

Sheri Muehlfelt is the Douglas County election manager.
