Suresh B. Damle
Laura Hopkins
David J. Martz (incumbent)
Paul Meyers (incumbent)

The HRCA recreation advisory committee delegates will vote March 18, and residents are asked to contact their delegates before then at www.hrcaonline.org to let them know who they would like to see elected.

There are a total of 87 delegates representing 89 districts within Highlands Ranch.

Jamie Noebel, community relations manager for the Highlands Ranch Community Association, said the delegates are voices for Highlands Ranch neighborhoods.

"They are there to find out what issues are going on," she said. Their job is to be a liaison with the board of directors and to get recommendations on things they want to see happen in Highlands Ranch."

YourHub.com asked a few of the delegates -- Marvin Kokes and Russell D. King -- to respond to a questionnaire about their interests and local issues:

How I have contributed to the community: Volunteer at school, church and HRCA.
Why I decided to become a delegate: I feel it is important to be active and volunteer in the community in which you live. HRCA delegates need to be a representative body of the community.
