Hi, my name is "Ouji" (pron. O-G, Japanese for Prince) and I am looking for a good home. My current people found me in May and took me to the Vet for all of my shots to keep me healthy. After trying to find my "people" my current parents decided to take care of me and have given me a great home. I also have a microchip so that if I ever become lost again I can be found and returned more easily.

As for me, I am just a happy 10-11 month old Akita that loves life, people, other animals, as a matter of fact, I haven't found anyone that I haven't liked. I will say that when a stranger comes to the door I am paying close attention to make sure that nothing happens to my people. I have been to my first level obedience classes and I came in second in my class! My people were pretty proud of me.

As for my personality, I have lots of it! I LOVE people and I get along great with other dogs. I am not aggressive at all and I don't like conflicts. I like to chew on my rawhides and run around the yard. I sleep at the foot of the bed so I can be close to my people. I love to play, did I mention that? When I am not playing I am pretty at ease and I like watching TV, especially when there are animals on! I can watch for hours. My people don't let me on the furniture but I do like to sleep on the couch when they are not at home. I am curious about cats. My people have one. I like to sniff her, probably because I haven't seen an animal that small before, but I can tell she isn't crazy about me. I am not surprised though, I am about 90 pounds and she is about 8 pounds. My Doctor thinks I will be about 100-120 pounds.
